A passport can contain an identity page, machine-readable data, visas, entry and exit stamps, handwritten annotations or endorsements. The translation scope should match what the receiving organisation has asked to see.

Passport applications
For a British passport application, HM Passport Office may require certified translations of supporting documents that are not in English or Welsh. That is a different intent from translating the passport itself.
